14" x 36" Used SEM Disintegrator Granulator

These SEM Disintegrators (Models 1436 and 1436/5) have been evaluated by NSA and with the standard 3/32″ screen and are listed on the NSA/CSS EPL for Paper Disintegrators, CDs, and Key Tape.

These extra heavy duty, high volume disintegrators can easily destroy bound manuals and printouts from 4″ to 6″ thick and are very popular with large Military Bases and Data Processing Centers. Available with horsepower ranging from 40-150 HP while providing destruction rates up to 1,800 lbs/hr at NSA 3/32″ recommended shredded particles sizes or in excess of 3,000 lbs/hr or greater at larger sizes. Because the applications and destruction requirements for these products vary so greatly and because of the wide range of available options and accessories, we only publish basic specifications on this unit. These systems are fully customizable with added features such as sound enclosures, conveyors, metal detectors to protect and prolong blade life, VFDs to enhance user experience while reducing energy consumption, and touch screen interfaces for ultimate operator ease of use.
