Hopper magnets are designed to remove ferrous metal and tramp iron from free-flowing materials such as plastics, foods, cosmetics, grains and minerals. High density permanent magnetic tubes are arranged to draw iron particles into the magnetic field and hold them there as material flow through the grate. Two styles of hopper magnets are available in round, rectangular and square models to best suit your needs. Both are constructed of stainless steel with one-inch diameter magnetic tubes placed to provide the greatest magnetic efficiency. Tubes are filled with Alnico, Ceramic or Rare Earth magnetic material. Deflectors are placed to direct product flow across the strongest magnetic area. Style #2 features the tubes running through the frame. Deflectors are optional with Style #2.
