RST's polymer business involves the processing of various types of polyester waste into granular forms that allows them to be combined with other polyester feed stocks and fed into a polymerization process.
We are a full-service operation offering the following services to the recycled polyester market:
GRANULATION: Size reduction of lump, chunk and purgings utilizing a 200 HP Cumberland or a 150 HP Mitts & merrill granulator..
DENSIFICATION: Increase bulk density of low density feedstocks such as fiber, film and edge trim utilizing a 125 HP Retech shredder and a 540 HP REG MAC tub densifier.
BULK UNLOADING: Unloading of chip from bulk trucks or rail cars into gay lords or super sacks.
