The separator utilizes magnetic and kinetic forces to permit permit the majority of contaminated wire to separate from clean wire. The attraction of rubber-contaminated wire is minimized and extracted wire is cleared from flow using a counter-rotating brush system feature 4 replaceable brush strips.
